Nnamdi Kanu of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has been named as the overall leader by the Seven Pro-Biafra groups.
As indicated by the gathering, they were gone for accomplishing the mission for submission, which they trusted will prompt the Republic of Biafra under the authority of Mazi Kanu.
They will now work under that umbrella as Biafran People National Council (BPNC), to talk with one voice on all issues concerning acknowledgment of Biafra.
The gatherings are the Movement for the Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB), Biafran Revolutionary Organization (BRO), Eastern People Congress (EPC), Joint Revolutionary Council of Biafra (JRCB), Biafra Liberation Crusaders (BLC) and Salvation People of Biafra.
Ascending from a shut entryway meeting with Kanu, Comrade Uchenna Madu, who tended to newsmen on their determination, said the choice was to cooperate and talk with one voice under a focal pioneer.
“Every one of the gatherings still exist yet will be talking with one voice, in the mission for submission. Recognized individuals and extraordinary individuals of Biafra and supporters of heavenly mission of liberation of the place where there is Biafra from the mistreating Nigeria State, we salute you, as we remain in this blessed place that is known for Biafra, in remarkable and kindly assembling, to respect our own particular sibling who separated himself in the self assurance battle for Biafra realization and reclamation.
“To pay tribute to our incomparable pioneer, Chukwu Okike Abiama and in recognition of Dim Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu, we, the general population of Biafra, under the portrayal of all professional Biafra gatherings, thusly receive and proclaim our sibling, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu as the new pioneer of Biafra Nation, under whose initiative, through the beauty of Chukwu Okike Abiama, might the general population of Biafra rest.
“Mazi Kanu’s initiative should bring solidarity, peace, advance and charitable love among the regarded individuals of Biafra through the instrumentality of shared and private comprehension among te ace Biafra gatherings”, Madu announced.
In his response, Kanu said he was lowered by the choice of the different gatherings and guaranteed he would not disappoint them.
“I am lowered by this choice of the gatherings, we began together and we have all wound up together in light of the fact that we are earnest and deliberate. I am not in the propensity for disappointing my companions. That thing you said I can’t do is the thing that I will do.
“Everyone will be conveyed along; in the event that I am welcomed for any meeting, I will take a few people along. This is an extraordinary day for Biafra, everywhere throughout the world.
“We have disgraced our adversaries who thought we can’t meet up, who felt that if when we get Biafra, we will slaughter ourselves; we have disgraced them.”
Asked whether IPOB has some time ago kept in touch with the United Nations (UN) requesting choice, Kanu answered that the best letter was consistent common noncompliance which he said fills in as “penmanship on the divider for the administration; they wake up to see it ordinary.”
