A 30 year old lorry driver Micheal Preston, has been sentenced to two years and eights months in jail for killing a father of two, Anthony Marson.

Police say the inccident was caused on the grounds that the lorry driver was text driving.

The deceased, a wedded father-of-two from Telford in the West Midlands, was murdered quickly when Michael Preston’s HGV collided with him on August 21 a year ago.

Mr Marston’s devastated wife and his two youngsters paid tribute to him, saying he “lived to the full”.

 They stated: “Tony was an adoring father to Laura and Luke and husband to Sue. He was one of life’s original characters who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.”

Preston, who was condemned at Wolverhapton Crown Court , has additionally been excluded from driving for 30 months after his discharge from jail.
