Stephen Akpata, a 40-year-old man, has been captured for purportedly wounding his sweetheart, Onyinye Faustina Eze, to death at the Kpansia suburb of Yenagoa, the Bayelsa State capital.

Briefing newsmen at the home office of the Bayelsa Police Command in Yenagoa, the state Police Commissioner, Asuquo Amba, said the suspect, who fled to Gbana a month ago in the wake of carrying out the wrongdoing, was captured two weeks after the fact in Lagos by security agents on his trail.
