A suspected armed robber, Dahiru Samaila, was shot dead during the end of the week amid a shootout with the police at Masaki town in Kaita LGA of Katsina State.

Report says Samaila and his gang raged the place of one Hamza Umar where they shot and executed the more youthful sibling whose name was given as Aminu Rabe.

 The Policemen raged the house after a misery call, bringing about a shootout with the police.

The feared looter was shot in the leg as he endeavored to get away.

Samaila allegedly passed on at the healing center where he was taken to, for treatment.

The Spokesman for Katsina police charge, DSP Gambo Isah, affirmed the occurrence.
