An Iyaganku Magistrates’ Court, Ibadan, on Wednesday, condemned an 18 year old man, Muideen Nasiru, to 39 months detainment for taking aluminum outlines and different things worth N500,000 from a congregation.

 The justice, Mrs O.K. Omotosho, condemned Nasiru after he confessed to a three-tally of scheme, soften up and taking.

Omotosho said the convict ought to spend his jail term at Agodi Prisons, Ibadan.

 “The young man is a cheat, most likely; he has a back up parent, who purchases the stolen things from him.

“The general public will be better for it on the off chance that he is detained; he may take in some things in jail.

 “He is thusly condemned to three months detainment on tally one, year and a half on check two and year and a half on tally three,” she said.

Omotosho, in any case, held that the sentence should run simultaneously.

 Prior, the Police Prosecutor, Sgt. Olalekan Adegbite, had told the court that the charged conferred the offenses with some others still everywhere at Christ’s Ambassador Church, Inalende, Ibadan.

Adegbite said the blamed stole four church chimes, a drum set, window casings and four gas lights.

He said the stolen property had a place with the complainant, Rev. Confidence Ikumapayi, the originator of the congregation.

 The offenses repudiated Sections 390 (9), 415’and 516 of the Criminal Law of Oyo State, 2,000  (NAN)
