The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) says 19 people have been killed the bucket in an awful engine mishap along Kano, Katsina Road.

The Public Relations Officer of the FRSC Sector Command in the state, Mr Kabir Ibrahim-Daura, uncovered this to newsmen on Saturday in Kano.

 Kabir-Daura said that the occurrence happened close to Lambun Garban Bichi, on the edges of Bichi town, around 8:30 a.m. on Friday.

 As per him, the occurrence happened when a Peugeot J5 transport and a Toyota C20 transport had a head-on crash when one of the drivers of the vehicles needed to surpass the other vehicle at a sharp curve corner.

He said the two vehicles bust into blazes because of that 18 out of the 34 travelers in the vehicles were scorched to fiery debris. “There were 34 travelers on board in the two vehicles, so 18 persons were scorched to fiery, while the other one kicked the bucket later in the clinic, “he added.

Kabir-Daura said the rest of the 15 people who maintained different wounds were taken to Bichi General Hospital by the Corps’ work force for treatment.

He credited the mishap to wrong overtaking and speeding, and encouraged drivers to dependably obey activity principles and controls to maintain a strategic distance from street accidents on the Highways.
