One individual has been apparently killed while numerous others were on Thursday harmed as two groups of Yoruba local army gatherings, Oodua Peoples Congress (OPC) drove by Otunba Gani Adams and another group of OPC, OPC New Era conflicted at the Lekan Salami Stadium, Adamasingba in Ibadan. 

 We assembled that among those genuinely harmed is a solid individual from the New Era Group, Mr. Adesina Akinpelu.

The fracas happened at the front of the Lekan Salami Stadium, where a meeting of Yoruba pioneers titled “Yoruba Standpoint on Restructuring” was held.

Akinpelu who was said to have been harmed with a few weapons, for example, firearms, cutlasses, stones and adheres was taken to an undisclosed healing center for treatment.

It was accumulated that it took the mediation of the DPO responsible for Mokola Police Station and other security operators to guarantee that the conflict did not raise.

A golf auto with enrollment number JJJ 784 AS was harmed at the front of door 3 of the stadium amid the fracas. The golf was relinquished for a few hours previously it was taken away by the policemen for examination of the issue.

An onlooker revealed that one individual was gunned around a group of the OPC.

He said ” One individual was harmed, he seems as though he was dead, some of his partners came and another group met them. The two groups were shooting, one group was shooting up, while another group gunned one individual down. Some of them were from Lagos while some are from Ibadan.”

Another source disclosed that an individual from one of the gatherings, who drove the golf car with enrollment number JJJ 784 AS, was addressed and tested for gluing OPC sticker in his auto.

Be that as it may, endeavors to address the Public Relations Officer of the state Police Command, Mr. Adekunle Ajisebutu as at the time of filling this report demonstrated fruitless.
