A guard in Igbo Elerin, in the Agbara range of Ogun State, has been captured by the police for supposedly hijacking a 15-year-old Junior Secondary School 2 student, Asmau Ajibade.
The guard, recognized basically as John, was secured alongside a shoemaker, Moses, who lives on Opic Estate, Agbara.
It was accumulated that the girl who lived with guardians in the Estate, vanished on Monday, September 18, on her approach to class around 7.30am.
The shoemaker, who helped the girl to settle her torn shoe that morning, had advised the guardians that she had all the earmarks of being in a rush when she came to settle the shoe.
Records of the school, Agbara Community Junior Secondary School, additionally showed that she was truant on that day.
The case was accounted for at the Agbara Police Division.

One of the guardians, Alhaji Rauf Adetona, said Ajibade admitted that it was the shoemaker who snared her with John, including that she went through four days with the sweetheart.
He stated, “When the shoemaker saw your (The PUNCH) write about her vanishing, he educated John. At the point when John attempted to restore her to the domain, she fled. He went through four days with John. We discovered her school uniform with John.

“She took us to the house where John fills in as a guard and said it was Moses who snared her with John. The police have captured both of them.”
The Ogun State Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Abimbola Oyeyemi, affirmed John and Moses’ capture.
“The girl has been brought together with her guardians and the suspects captured. They will be summoned for snatching,” he included.
