Inside a statement signed by its National Coordinator, Comrade Francis Ikonomwan, the group was adamant that Buhari isn’t fit to operate for that 2019 elections because Nigerians no more trust him to provide his promises.

Ikonomwan stated instead of thinking of contesting in 2019, Buhari should concentrate on delivering his campaign offers to Nigerians prior to the finish of his tenure.

The statement reads, “President Muhammadu Buhari is not in a position to deliver on his campaign promises. What’s this administration to campaign within every sector of the economy or perhaps is it fighting against corruption that continues to be taken underneath the carpet?

“Even the political leaders and those who fought against for his emergence as President today happen to be abandoned and therefore are all lamenting today.

“There is really a total disconnect between your people and also the President Muhammadu Buhari-brought administration. Poverty and Hunger has become an order of your day in Nigeria these days. It’s getting apparent each day that Nigerians can’t trust President Muhammadu Buhari using the leadership of the united states.

“If APC fields Muhammadu Buhari since it’s presidential candidate in 2019, we’re afraid that Nigerians may stone us at campaign grounds. We might just finish up giving the opposition party the presidency in 2019 on the platter of gold.

“However, we want to ask President Muhammadu Buhari to disregard such call because it is away from the interest of Nigerians.

“President Muhammadu Buhari’s priority now ought to be ways to use the remaining part of his administration to provide on the campaign promises and perform the needful by not indicating interest to contest in 2019.”
