The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, caucus in the House of Representatives on Sunday advised President Muhammadu Buhari to sack all officials active in the recall and reinstatement of an old Chairman, Presidential Taskforce on Pension Reforms, Abdulrasheed Maina.
The PDP lawmakers stated the event was a sign that fighting against corruption through the Buhari-brought government had weakened.
Inside a statement in Abuja, signed through the Deputy Minority Leader of the home, Chukwuka Onyema following a meeting, the PDP caucus known as for additional analysis into the problem.
The statement read partially, “The ‘Mainagate scandal’, where someone being searched for by INTERPOL wasn’t only smuggled into power but given double promotion and mind-boggling security protection inside a country where lots of deserving civil servants are now being ignored, is really dumbfounding.
